Meet The Champions - Fraser Hanson

Having played for the club for a number of years, put into words what this league title win means to you?

It’s an unbelievable feeling to win the Humber Premier League with Pock, especially after being in and around the club since I was a little lad! I know how much it means to the club to win it for the first time. It's been such a great pleasure to do it with Joe and Woko and such a great set of lads. The team spirit has been immense this year

Having scored a number of goals, which is your favourite?

I enjoyed my volley against Scullys, unreal assist from Lockwood. This was in a very important game but the team performance was outstanding from everyone involved. My free kick against Hedon was up there too as it felt extremely good to be up 4-0 at Hedon and putting the game further out of site so we can now lift that trophy

In the last game vs Hedon, we saw you applaud the supporters, what did it mean to you to get that support in a crucial game.

The support has been so good this year and this trophy means as much to them as it does to the players so it’s definitely nice to have a moment with them coming off the pitch and both show that appreciation

What are your aims/targets for next season?

As a team we will go again next year. There’s nothing stopping us from winning it all. We have the belief and we’ve shown what we can do
